The Women Initiative for Sustainable Community Development (WISCOD) is a Non– governmental, Community Based Organization. It is non-Political, Interfaith and non- Profit oriented organization.
VISION- To create a community where women and less privileged persons are empowered to realize their rights and achieve their full potentials .
MISSION- To exploit under developed human and material resources through training and awareness/sensitization programmes to improve and enhance community potentials for women and less privileged.
WHAT WE DO The organization aims at creating enabling environment for communities to strive for available resources within their reach to enhance the development of their community. The organization work with target communities in the following areas:-
A. Conflict transformation and Peace building
B. REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH
C. Education and literacy program for identified disadvantage groups.
D. Women and youth empowerment- vocational skill acquisition programs to enable target communities realized, make use and sustain social and economic development of selves and community at large.
